Our Vision

Northern Ghana's First World-Class Botanical Park

Woodland Botanical Gardens is an active, committed project that has already broken ground, planted 2,500 trees, dug boreholes, constructed roads, and raised a dam that is 75% complete.

Water Security

The largest earthen retention dam in Upper West Region stores 5,000–20,000 cubic metres for dry-season irrigation, supporting surrounding communities and agriculture.

Living Botanical Park

128 acres of curated botanical zones, walking paths, event lawns, butterfly maze, rock garden, and waterfront restaurant — Ghana's most photographable destination.

Community & Economy

40–80 permanent jobs, school programmes, wedding venue, and cultural pride — Wala heritage woven into every garden and sign across the site.

“Rooted in Heritage. Flowing with Life.”
